Absolutely superb knock from Duckett. Other than the delivery that got him he barely missed the middle of the bat.

Zak Crawley has just made the worst test fifty of all time. Honestly those are some of the most respectable knocks. You may see “Crawley 52* (74)” but he’s missed plenty, left that ball that led to the review, and he has been hit on the pad or edged it into his pad. And he’s somehow gutsed it out.

I’m not sold on Zac Crawley (although that on drive was gorgeous) but Duckett and Harry Brook have really plugged some gaps in the English lineup. It’s a really decent batting lineup. Smith looks a brilliant wk.

I’m very much a “wait until both sides have batted” person. But flippen hell LSG have bowled and fielded like absolute garbage. This is a good track and 200 was very on the cards. But LSG have really helped Ponting’s Punjab.

I work for the government. Do you have any idea how much “ethical” bureaucratic nonsense we have to go through because of corruption at the top? And the rules to deal with corruption at the top only apply to those of us who are too unimportant do actually do a corruption. It’s bewildering.
