Rabbi Eli Schlanger is STILL being praised on the ABC News website. This Zionist hate preacher openly celebrated Israel's #GazaGenocide, raised funds for illegal Israeli settlements in the #WestBank AND called for the ethnic cleansing of "Arabs" from Palestine bc "it's our land, it belongs to us." 😲

So as everyone kind of knew, when Chris Minns talked about cracking down on protests and gatherings, he really meant specifically pro-Palestine and anti-mass-murder protests: racist, white nationalist protests (probably attended by neo-nazi anti-semites) are completely fucking fine

This is about all protest and all free expression, from here on out. Our establishment knows social discontent will only grow as the climate worsens, the slaughters continue, and the rich extract harder. They're not fixing anything, and they don't want you to be able to resist.

The key thing to understand is that he has been trying to do this all along. It is not new. He in fact did this with the Dural caravan fake bomb nonsense, hyping it up as terrorism in order to pass new rushed laws when he and authorities knew from the outset that it was staged. He is not fit to lead

All you dorks in the press pack that are allowed near the man, ask the Prime Minister if reporting truthfully on the Gaza genocide will be illegal under Jillian Segal's recommendations.

I support changes to hate speech laws, and there are sensible changes among what NSW government is proposing, but criminalising the phrase "globalise the intifada" based on a bad faith reading propagated not by the people who say it but by the lobby opposed to Palestinian rights is not one of them.

Earth’s orbit is now so crowded with spacecraft and debris that a catastrophic satellite collision could occur in just 2.8 days if avoidance systems fail, which could disrupt GPS and global communications, according to a new study.

Cannot emphasise enough how intensely fascist / violent it is to criminalise the act of being publicly opposed to civilian murder on false pretences

It is not hyperbole at all to present these government actions as something that will cause serious harm in a bunch of different ways

Minns and Albanese are being played like puppets by the Israel lobby and Mike Burgess is too busy hoping nobody will notice the failure of his agency to neutralise a terror cell unassociated with the public sympathy and marches for Palestinian liberation. No one in leadership is doing their job.

I totally agree with the Jewish Council here.

I will continually speak out against the Netanyahu Govt’s killing of 20,000 innocent children in Gaza.

That appalling action has caused so much anti-semitism around the world.

The Australia press is so embarassing, like why are people who were found to have breached the Racial Discrimination Act lecturing anyone on racial hatred?

Hanson is calling for tougher hate speech laws, while she is currently in court trying to appeal against her loss in a hate speech legal case. A fact not mentioned by a single outlet covering this story.
Hanson at the Bondi memorial calling for students to be "rounded up" and cuts to immigration. The crowd muttering in agreement, and giving her a huge round of applause once she finishes.

Everything is about to get so much worse in Australia

Every “journalist” who is helping the hard right anti-immigrant Liberal Party use a terror attack to spread fear and hatred and to undermine the Labor government should hang their heads in shame. We know News Corp exists to run these campaigns, but what’s the ABC’s excuse?

Ah yes, that's where a recently unemployed 24-year-old bricklayer, who spent years hanging around Australia's pro-IS network, and his 50-year-old migrant father were radicalised: university anti-genocide protests 🙄

Be fucking serious for a moment.

Shame on everyone who didn’t even wait a day to use an abhorrent, devastating terrorist attack to create fear and division - exactly what terrorists want. Anyone using a national tragedy for political point scoring should be ashamed of themselves! From all ends of the political spectrum.

Tick-the-box-Albanese creates an anti-corruption agency (NACC) that lacks integrity at the very top.
Concerns about integrity at the top of the NACC are piling up. Undisclosed defence work, corrected evidence and rising complaints have put real pressure on the agency’s leadership, writes Sarah Russell @AgedMatters. #auspol #NACC #Accountability #Integrity
Conflicts, corrections and confusion: pressure mounts on the NACC Commissioner
The Inspector of the NACC has received 90 complaints since 1 July. Most of these complaints concern the NACC Commissioner’s conflict of interests with Defence.

Heartbroken at the events in Bondi overnight. But also furious at the Israeli PM’s comments, essentially blaming the Australian government for the attack. At a time of sadness, he demonstrates yet again that there’s no tragedy he won’t twist for political gain. Disgusting.
