We were thrilled to see the new #solar array at North Ferriby primary school today, which we had a hand in instigating.
The savings on the electricity bills to run the school will directly benefit current and future pupils.
Even more rewarding is the enthusiasm of the staff.
Well done #ERYC

The transition to renewable energy in the UK necessitates understanding periods of low generation, known as Dunkelflaute. While relying on renewables reduces costs and emissions, adequate backup through a mix of gas, nuclear, storage, and Demand-Side Management (DSM) remains essential. UK’s #EV fleet is set to hit 3M by end of 2026. With bidirectional charging, even a sliver of battery capacity can help flatten peak demand—cutting costs for consumers and the grid. Flexibility isn’t just a tech feature, it’s a national asset. #EVs #GridFlex #NetZero
EVs and the National Grid
The UK electric car fleet is expected to increase to around 3 million by the end of 2026. Bidirectional charging equipped EVs can use a s mall fraction of their battery to provide valuable flexibility to the grid, reducing peak demand and reliance on costly peaker plants, resulting in potential savings for consumers and the national grid operator.

Enabling Knowledge Agents in SharePoint: Pain control
Microsoft’s Knowledge Agent rollout promises smarter content discovery across SharePoint. But for many SharePoint admins, the setup hits unexpected snags, especially if you're strong in SharePoint but less familiar with PowerShell’s quirks. It would be handy to know where the troubles are and how to work around them.
