Three scam calls today, one of them actually tried twice so I answered and explained to an AI voice that version doesn't give out credit cards and made it hang up, something happen in Florida to get this shit kicking off again?

Spent the evening at a mixer for folks in a local geeks discord server, was a pretty good time despite some understandably chaotic service, always nice to be reminded there's more folks around who are as much of a freak as you are.

When I worked in retail I was repeatedly told I had to say "Welcome to [store]!" and "Have a good day!" and I never fucking did it if a manager wasn't around because when I go anywhere I go exactly where I need to to get my shit and get out as fast as possible, I ain't there to talk or be upsold.
