Trump is destroying the CDC, esp around vaccines, so CA is expanding our public health infrastructure to make up for it.

Before we ended our legislative session, we passed legislation (SB 144) to transfer responsibility for vaccine protocols & recommendations to the CA Department of Public Health.

NIH has rescinded its scientific integrity policy. Hard to see this as anything other than clearing the way for shoddy research on things like vaccines. Regardless of the rationale, it's bad news for public health.
