Budget 2025.

The wealthy hardly hit.

Minor tweaks on dividend and mansion tax.
No wealth tax.
No alignment of taxes on dividends & capital gains tax with taxation of wages.
Partnerships won't pay NIC on partners' share of profits
No financial transactions tax.

Lobbying and political donations pay

It’s not enough that Gazans have been stripped of their land, their homes, and a lifetime of hard work even education has been taken from them.
Education was the one thing Gazans held on to the most; our parents sold everything they owned so we could learn.

@bbc5live.bsky.social Why are you ignoring the ongoing Israeli slaughter in Gaza and the West Bank? You give plenty of time to Russian attacks but are now totally ignoring the fact that Israel is continuing the genocide in a "ceasefire".

Do your jobs as journalists or be accused of racist bias.

The attacks on Polanski are 'Niemoelleresque'.

The tenet of Niemoeller is,

'Who will be there for you'

It's your choice, ultimately.

Nothing is perfect and totally aligns with your political views.

The Green Party is a political broadchurch.

You choose?

My choice is the Green Party.
First they ignore you.

Then they attack you in the budget.

Etc.

Witkoff is the literal Russian oligarch, in all senses.

Quote:
"a very rich business leader with a great deal of political influence who benefited from the privatization of state-run industries after the collapse of the Soviet Union."

Witkoff is a 'Krasnov' in another packet!
Witkoff is not buying the Russian narrative. He is selling it.

Nobody donates 5 figure sums without expecting a favour in return.
Chinn as an individual has 1 vote in elections.
That is the political power of all individuals.
'Donate' 100k+ that political power is magnified exponentially.
Whose interest does Chinn serve?

Capitalism v Socialism for fuckwits;

Capitalism = for the few, NOT the many.

Socialism = for the many NOT the few.

Hope this clarifies things.
Americans have no idea what socialism means

In the civilized parts of the world it means people have the power to choose to not be screwed over by rapey, greedy corporate thugs. That’s it. That’s all it means

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

Reform's former Leader in Wales, Nathan Gill, a 10.5 year jail term for taking bribes from the Kremlin.

Cosied up to authoritarian powers & traded principles for payoffs. Reform's leadership laughably claimed they barely knew Gill.

I asked him if he'd support a wealth tax on assets - and he refused to answer the question.

It's USA/West driven military globalism.
The scary questions are;
Where will it lead?
How will China/Russia respond?
Saudi Arabia now a 'Major Non Nato Ally'.
MNNA means that you are so heavily integrated into the US/NATO military machine - training, tech, resupply, etc - that it becomes impossible for you to act independently.
It's a growing network of direct proxies and puppet states.
