LA Times Festival of Books was AWESOME!
Saw a talk with Percival Everett author of Erasure and James (and 35 other books!). Best author interview I’ve heard in a while.

This little cat had been hanging around our complex. Getting into fights, getting soaked in the rain- a hot mess. I took him to get neutered and cleaned up. He was a sweetie who just wanted a home. Today he was adopted and went to his forever home. Thank you Hawthorne SPCLA! 💕

I fully support you checking my novel out from your local library & returning it to them without reading it. You have still done your library & me a service. I will note however that if you actually do read my book when you check it out it’s a great bonus experience.
📚 Library patrons! Please check out a book you plan to read someday, but not right now. We won’t be able to tell you haven’t read it, it’s good for our metrics, and it prevents good books from getting weeded when they still have a kindred spirit out there.

Please note:
- data is for U.S. based publishers
- not all publishers/agents announce every deal
- some deals include multiple books/cats so numbers are approx.
