Why can't Facebook also have a keyword blocklist? I am so tired of constantly getting articles about whatever Elon Musk tweeted. It is daily. I block each news source as it happens but there appears to be an infinite number of news websites.

People are saying "X is rightwing" and "BlueSky is leftwing" but I think it's more nuanced than that. X encourages engagement through rage & using up your mental energy, while Bluesky culture heavily encourages using the mute features to have a pleasant experience, even if it means less engagement.

My first attempt at a #comic, drawn in MS Paint. It is more or less how I've lived since the #election, thanks to the muted keywords feature on Bluesky.

...I have a lot more spare time and mental energy when I stopped following the news, so more webcomics to come. 😬

BlueSky should bring back the Fail Whale during server troubles. It will remind us elder millennials of a simpler time.

When an X user visits BlueSky

WFH full time, I get a lot of these "Hello fellow human, how do you do?"

@bsky.app would it be possible in the future to add an OPTIONAL account status/filter for "Real human verification"? So a user has the option to provide documentation to prove they are a human. And then they have the option to tweak their feed so they only see posts from other verified humans.
