Yeah, not a problem, I'll be over in a minute.
Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

“Would you say more about what’s worrying you here?”
Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

"No, you can't leave that here."

MiL's new fence panels delivered and installed, dreading having to have to sort out the garden when the spring comes. Its a mid terrace back yard but it haf been made into a little oasis. Rather battered by various storms and dying fence panels.

I'm not a gardener but it'll mean the world to MiL.

Just saw a post with George Clinton citing the Beatles as his favorite band, which reminded me of this quote he once gave me

In other news, headache, tinnitus and a good dose of nausea.

Niche post but if anyone has this type of Timberland boot, or similar maker, then this dry clean kit is pretty damn good at making them look a lot more spick and span again.
I wasn't expecting much from it but I'm pleasantly surprised how much cleaner my boots look, for very little effort.

My ennui is reaching dangerously epic proportion.

I need a good kick up the arse to snap myself out of it.

Well that was an enjoyable day. City 5-1 winners over Chelsea. Highly unexpected to be so dominant and big a scoreline.

Sandy Baltimore us as small in real life as she is on the TV.

I reckon she has the most talent per inch of height of any player going 😀

The radiator in our bedroom ia the hottest in the house and I have just.done a couple of hours of ironoing up there.

The room is hotter than Lucifer's Y-fronts after a particularly violent vindaloo.

Windows and curtains open for a bit to cool it off before I try to go to bed.

@dannyrobins.bsky.social when our local theatre is up and running again, you'll have to bring the #Uncanny tour to Oldham, we might get an extra visitor on stage with you.

Work today has been all about driving and IT. The best that can be said for it is that it's now over.

"We've all had to put the central heating on, it's depleted the available power for Rochdale"

A rather niche series of post: Overheard in a Morrison's Cafe.

Poor thing, nobody ever believes it'll be cold enough to use her.
I wonder if this festive hot water bottle knew she would still be on the shelves come January

This could be me.

Courgettes are Satan's fetid penis in vegetable form.
My father had a glut of courgettes from the allotment. We had them every meal for months. I still hate them 40 years on

This photo was taken in 1911 using glass plate technology by Herbert Ponting who was part of Scott's Antarctic expedition,

The composition and detail are exquisite with the band of white snow/ice creating a perfect frame around the two people and the ship in the distance

Iconic imo

Lyme disease is a mmelonfarming chunt.

I'm having a huge flare up and even thinking hurts like hell, any sort of movement from breathing upwards is absolutely agonizing at the moment.

Whingey whingey woo.
