Another +1 to the anime adaptation for replacing the Pop-Up Pirate in Ch. 70 with a full-blown Akagi parody (wooooo mahjong)
Having seen so much Gintama before, revisiting the first two episodes does feel like a watered down version of a normal Gintama mini-arc but other than that the adaptation has been spot-on with reordering chapters and introducing original gags to keep the pacing lively.

Working on my Japanese by both reading Gintama and rewatching the anime (had to turn off the subs to force myself to listen more closely lol). The jokes I remember are still funny in manga form but can't beat the voice actors and their goated comedic timing + delivery.

Continuing to not start Uma Musume (or any other new gacha game) since I already know about my addictive tendencies and have far too many manga / novels to read..... Though it is fun to watch these communities from afar.

Been meaning to check out the Momose Akira manga since I'm a hopeless romcom junkie but with the license recently announced I figured I'd wait until it shows up on the app before I start reading.

Only took me like 6 months from this post to finally finish it lmao (and in that time we got another Taisho winner with Alice Dokomademo). Anyways, currently on Thermae Romae. Only reading 1 volume a day to keep room for other reads but that will get me through it all in a week so should be fun.
Update: I’m around 60% into Chihayafuru now and it’s top 2 (I should’ve read it all by now but I still need to work on my priorities….)

I tried cutting back this season and somehow ended up with more shows ??? At least it’s not every day and I’m actually studying Japanese consistently…

Oh yeah guess I should post something manga-related on the off chance that someone from Twitter / other site recognizes this acc; I recently finished Silver Spoon and it was great. Definitely worthy of the Manga Taisho (with this I'm now halfway through / caught up with all winners so far).
