I’ve been catching up on Hima-Ten!, and it’s so cool to see Genki Ono’s art opening up and getting more expressive and loose again. It was an aspect lost somewhat after Full Drive, and it’s such a level up.

The main surprise of Jack Kirby’s Jimmy Olsen comics, more than the collages even, is how genuinely funny Kirby can be, especially with the Don Rickles storyline. It’s doesn’t really capture Rickles, but the jokes are still funny, you know?
