Mum twisted my arm to get Max. At first I wasn't keen. Looking after her was a full time job and I couldn't see I'd have time to train him.
She insisted and that's how Max came into my life.
Sadly, mum passed away a year later. He's been such a good companion

Scan done and home again. A big thank you to the staff at the NDDH. They always do their best to put a smile on your face. No matter what they're doing to you.

I got Max walked before the rain set in. Just back from the weekly shopping and it's chucking it down. I'm hoping it will have eased by the time I have to go for a scan later.

I don't know if it's the cold I have or the weather.
But I seem to be in full hibernation mode at the moment. The alarm went off at 7am, 5 more minutes I thought. Then it's almost 10am!

I’ve spent the afternoon. Batch cooking chilli and boxing it up for freezing.
I don’t know which is more sad. That I’m writing out contents labels for the freezer. Or writing 1 portion on everything

What a rotten year 2026 has started off. Chaos in the world and bad head cold that knocked me off my feet for a couple of days. This comes hot on the heels of the bad cough I had from before Christmas and had only just gotten over.
