Marching bands are shite. The whole reason anyone is impressed by a marching band is because they're able to keep in time while doing choreography.
If I met a person that actively listens to audio recordings of a marching band I'd assume their brain was melted.

One of the things I specifically miss after moving to Zone 6 from Zone 2, is no longer being on the marathon route.
Spending a couple of hours cheering on the elites, then the club runners, and then all the people in fancy dress is just a plain good time.
