Captain Fiaer Dradorn is on a desperate quest for a long lost treasure, forced to rely on magic in a world where magic is a curse.

Sure, there have been times you have strayed from that ideal: made a few enemies, been chased from one port or another, your name cursed by those you left behind, but you have never been a bas man. Driven, sometimes even ruthless, but always with reason. As the days pass, it is getting harder for you to argue that you have stayed true to that. You once swore you would stay out of the politics of nations, no matter how desperate things become. Yet, for what the Isians are offering you, you will break your vow a thousand times if you must, despite knowing what will come of your actions here. Even orkney is under a heat adviaory warning today. So does that mean i am handfeeding the cat a frozen cat yogurt as a good use of my time?

Sun came out today, so went paddleboarding. Made it from one side of the beach to the other twice over. Almost got as far as the Juniata wreck before I chickened out too. D went to see how close he dared get to nesting bonxies, we waved at an isles plane. Good day.

There's a tiny spider in my living room. It likes the sofa. So do I. Spider is a house spider, and won't survive outside well so I'm trying to leave it be, but it keeps coming close enough to cuddle. Might be the more reciprical option, as the cat is more interested in background reality tv than me.

Today i got to pet two dogs and three cats (one is my own), including a norwegian forest cat! He's so fluffy! Genuine perfect ideal of floof. And not a single braincell has clearly ever bothered him. I adore him
