I think it's fascinating how Videogames are one of the only media where the technological advancement was so stark and rapid that we went from vague symbols that represented things to like... actual 3D renders designed to emulate humans that look close

one interesting problem with Scooby Doo is that like a lot of mystery kids series "murder" is never on the table so the gang are always solving crimes like diamond smuggling or land development

I think that Ninjas are uniquely perfect as Videogame protagonists.
1) They're silent, which a lot of videogame protagonists are.
2) They're primarily known for killing things and traversing locations with agility. Again: very common for videogame protagonists.
