I wonder if we are now getting a bump in the number of unintentional Animal Farm* references by elected representatives as the lives of minorities are dragged through media and legal mire?

*If you have no idea what I'm referring to, please do a simple search (or take you minds back to GCE/GCSE Eng)

Well .... Book 15 was published on Friday and today I started Book 16.

Last one took 2 years to write, perhaps this will be a little quicker?

I've seen a few adverts, articles and posts about wrist watches lately and that's taken me back to around 1989 when I stopped wearing a watch at work as it was getting caught regularly. As clocks were commonplace around the offices, and in public areas, this wasn't a problem.

I was warning people not to share this post TWO MONTHS ago and people are STILL sharing it!

Come on now people, you KNOW Streeting REALLY doesn’t want you to keep sharing it widely and at every possible opportunity.
It has come to my attention that many of you have been sharing this photo of Streeting and Mandelson widely.

Please remember that Wes Streeting does not like it being shared widely. So please do not share it widely and on every possible occasion. We wouldn’t want to upset him would we?

I last published something brand new in my Tammy series of books two years ago, Today I finally put the follow-up out after a long period without any creative writing beyond a page or so.

The next story already has a working title and I have started work on it, It shouldn't be 2 years this time!

I'm debating whether there's a need to step out of the door today. It's a little damp out there and the North Sea looks quite miserable.

As it is, I have a manuscript to edit (overnight email from my proofreader) and a radio station that needs programming.

Visiting mum today but my nails looked awful. I don't have time to strip them and start again, so a little touch up was solution.

Do they look worse? Do I have the time to strip them now?

Just checked all my email accounts (I have loads but only use a few daily) and realised that I didn't get a reply from the GIC (London) when I changed address & GP earlier this year. So ... chaser email sent and I got an OOO back ... will I get a real reply?

Chatting late night with my US proofreader about character development for the future story threads I already have (in the next 2 books). Some good stuff to think about.

Not everything ends up in the stories as sometimes things take a left turn and an idea doesn't fit any more.

2500 words scribbled so far today, up to 55k words and over 300 pages in my current manuscript.

I did not expect myself to spend 2 hours editing a 2hr audio file this morning, that isn't quite 2hrs long but needs to fit 2hrs as 2 x 1hr ... grrrr

I'm on an 🌈🏳️‍⚧️ organised walk around Colchester today. It's a city (town) I know really well but I'm expecting to hear loads of new stuff.

Pulling down a miniskirt in public 1) isn't going to make it longer and 2) might not end well.

Maybe I'll remember next time?

I need to declare a major first world problem - I am out of lettuce ... I repeat I am out of lettuce.

Prayers and thoughts please.

My current manuscript hit 51k words last night. Today is about research as the next bunch of scenes need to get it right, legally, and it's about law(s) for which I don't have a great deal of experience (building on former agricultural land in Scotland!!)

Oh dear ... gone midnight here and a call from my daughter. "If chicken smells like rotten eggs can I use it?"

Seriously!? I'm not mean enough to say it's okay!
