Pointe shoes look so delicate and pretty. I remember the first time I saw my dancer friend get a new pair and beat them senseless! I was so concerned. I still find it so strange that you have to “break” them!

For a lot of us, losing Twitter isn’t really about losing ties to the company itself. It’s losing 10+ years of real, asynchronous communities, professional development, the ability to get gigs and clients, the ability to promo/share your art on an extremely broad scale. The loss of that has impact.

With my whole chest: the urgent treatment centre wait times are awful and my body is in agony. Spending time here is literally causing me a flare up. Can the government pls help the NHS 😭
