Today's abysmal jobs report is a reminder that tax cuts for corporations and the rich don’t create jobs or grow the economy.

What's required is investment in working people — and better wages.

When workers have money to spend, the economy grows and businesses create more jobs.

Remember this.

If you voted for Trump in 2024 and finally realize that he lied to get your vote and things aren't going well, it's okay to change your mind.

Write your representative in Congress and tell them how you want them to vote. Tell them how things are going. Tell them to hold Trump accountable.

So apparently MAGA and GOP congress and senators are pissed about Trump's post about Rob Reiner's death.

Koh: I think what we are seeing is what the founding fathers feared the most, which is the collapse of our checks and balances. The Supreme court is supposed to be a co-equal branch of government. It's basically a mouthpiece for Donald Trump at this point.

Trump says we need to go after drug cartels.

Meanwhile, he disbanded a DOJ task force that took them on.

And he pardoned a former Honduran president convicted of drug trafficking.

Trump doesn't care about drugs — he wants to be able to declare war on anyone he labels an enemy.

It's a power grab.

The USA has an opportunity to get rid of Trump and Hegseth with this Caribbean boat thing. If they don't take it, I fear that the only way to get rid of Trump and his regime is if the world goes to war with the USA. And EMBARRASS us in defeat

It’s clear that the primary interest of the US in “peace negotiations” is to create opportunities for Trump, Witkoff, their family members, business partners and cronies to make billions from business deals with Russia, and Ukraine is just the annoying nuisance in the way.

My periodic reminder that Sarah Palin (quite correctly) called for Rahm Emmanuel to be fired when he used the "R" word.

And my periodic reminder that maybe a political reporter wants to ask her what should happen when Trump uses it.

Like any reporter.

The talking point they came up with is so lame and pathetic. Yes, insurance premiums are paid to insurance companies. Yes, the subsidies help low and low-middle income people afford to pay them. That’s how the ACA works. Just admit you want to raise premiums on 22 million people.

So, Trump is proposing an offer of probably $1500 to individuals to get rid of Obamacare. And then, you are on your own for all your Healthcare needs?
