Again, what if we just didn't buy or talk about the shiny new game from the dog shit trillion dollar publisher that's trying to drive the industry into the ground while also actively supporting a genocide.

As a very on brand move, I have already reassessed my opinion on the new Steam Controller, and I'm hopeful that it hits retail so I can get a better feel for the size and bulkiness.
I still think the trackpads are stupid, like they were on the first Steam controller... but here we are.

Appreciate Flatpak being fully integrated and thus working a little more seemlessly than it does elsewhere.
Gonna have to fool around with the OS a little more.
It didn't fucking die on the first boot, so better than Fedora already.

There's a world where the Steam Box is the final nail in the Xbox brands coffin, since MSFT was very much looking to pivot Xbox into being a box very similar to the Steam Box. Just running Windows, so just objectively worse in every concievable way.

FWIW, I don't dislike most childrens movies. I can appreciate them for what they are.

Since reinstalling my OS, my system hasn't been crashing in suspend... and the screen tearing issue with the Nvidia drivers seems to be fixed.

Me - I don't really understand who the Steambox is for.

This being said... I do not expect this system to make a large impact. PC is still an imperfect ecosystem, and unless Valve plans on getting these things in Walmarts and Bestbuys, I think the reach is going to be limited.

Really enjoyed it, and it does not overstay it's welcome.
Art direction really works well, and the voice acting is great. Story is compelling.

I really do enjoy the Switch 2. I think it's a great piece of HW that I'm getting a lot of use out of.
Unfortunately, like everything else video game industry related... everything surrounding the thing sort of sucks ass.

Nintendo putting Pokopia is a bad look as it's a first party game, but I really think more people need to complain about this being a full MSRP title, when it looks to be more shallow than most $20 indie "cozy games"

I picked up Goodnight Universe on Switch 2.
It doesn't have the camera functionality that PC has, but it doesn't really take away from anything.
Tech performance gives a really poor first impression, but is fine post intro.
The game itself is really interesting so far, but I'm early.

As someone that's long said that Keighley was largely harmless and just a little gratting... I have changed my mind.
No one should watch the Game Awards, or anything that man is involved in. You can wait 10mins to see your commercials when they hit the official YT channels.
