I think my favorite part of the Kaiju No 8 volumes is that it’s not boring uniform spines. And the colour choice and character selection is intentional.

Since my local shop can’t get the Nintendo preorder stuff, they had these pins made for all the big Sw2 releases. ZA is the first one that’s free with preorder, but I might buy the Sw2, MKW and DK ones since they’d be discounted.
