A lot of philosophy has always kinda rung hollow to me because there just isn’t very much biology in it and that seems insane to me.
(I recognize that some times when people have tried to put biology into philosophy have gone very bad.)

The amount of ppl saying bluesky is the first time they've felt safe engaging in the community in a long time is both heartwarming and very important to take seriously. We have to actively work to preserve this healthy space for ourselves, including by peacefully distancing from ppl we disagree with

I'm sure I'll have some political rants and thoughts in me at some point here, but for now I just really can't be bothered.
Truth is, I'm very pessimistic about the US and have been for a long, long time. The results don't surprise me much. But not being a doomer online gets me through the day.
