Once I "get over" this election, I'll write something pithy and inspiring here.

Since Monday I’ve had a literal heavy feeling on my soul. I had to start pretending it was a weighted blanket.

Sometimes there’s nothing to be done but tea and a blanket.

Marc Elias is one of the people standing in the breach protecting our democracy.
Martin Luther King Jr. said that “the ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge.” We are in a time of challenge.

The question for every leader, every citizen is where do you stand?
Now Is the Time for Courage
From Marc | I started Democracy Docket to be fearlessly independent and unapologetically pro-democracy.

The most common question I get these days is "What can I do now?" There are thousands of answers. The most important are:
1.) Do something.
2.) Do something where you feel you can make a difference.
3.) Help someone. Help as many people as you can.

PONDER THIS…

Have you ever noticed that when shit goes down, people demand that minorities be held responsible for their entire ethnic group? White folks are exempt from that demand.

When a Black person does something bad, the entire Black community must answer for it. Why is that?

This spells disaster for my disabled son and lots of people I love.
Speaker Mike Johnson and Republicans in Congress are coming for your health care. He said he is going to take “a blow torch” to the Affordable Care Act.

We have a fight on our hands and need to make it clear to them that they will lose their Seats in 2026 if they try to do this again.
