I’m 44.

When folks say, “I’m the same age!” I have to be mindful of where I put that inflection when I respond “Really”

😬

Really?! 😅
Really!? 🤩
Reaaaaaly? 🤔
Really. 😐

I love when a T-Shirt sparks conversation!

Mine says “Books saved my life”

Ended in a conversation on how to fall back in love with reading.

…it IS harder to stick w/ a book these days.

Start back with books u enjoyed, young adult books, manga, comic books, quick reads… anything.

Just read 📚

Introducing college seniors to accessibility is hopefully putting me out of a job. 🧵

Last month, I discussed digital accessibility with @njit.bsky.social students working their capstone project.

🏫 NJIT = my alma mater
♿ Accessibility = fave topic
👩🏾‍🎓 Students = 1UP, job preparedness

When you could get a book in the mail; a time before Amazon…

I’m a flower who’s been in enough pots to know that uprooting and finding MY pot of nutrient-rich soil is better than staying and withering.

YOUR place feels easy.
It will have support, energy, and dreams.
The challenges within such a place look like springboards, not walls.

I’m working on something special: a nonprofit news corporation, called Equal Access Public Media (EAPM).

The “news brains”, Stacy, explains what that even means.

Tell ‘em, Stacy….
The news is coming fast. It feels like ... a lot.

I've been asked more than once how @equalaccesspublicmedia.org's pubs like the National Tab will handle breaking news in which details change quickly.

I'd like to quote my senator, Liz Warren: "I have a plan for that."

Meh. I just don’t need to know how to do everything. 🤷🏾‍♀️

There.

I'm filling in an Experience Map for a #UXR project related to trauma I faced ~5 years ago.

Woof 😒

Breaks. I'm going to take a lot of self-care breaks.

Recalling the actions, thoughts, and emotions required of the map: it's not PTSD (thank God), but it's also not rolling off my back either.
