When you publish a website that posts the names and photos of scholars who have written or said things you disagree with and encourage people to surveil and harass them, you are not, in fact, a “free speech” organization.
It is quite simply dishonest to describe TPUSA as a “free speech” organization and not even mention the “Professor Watchlist,” as NPR just did. Reporting on a crime does not entail adopting the victim’s views.

there have basically never been any repercussions for lying about crime. this is pretty much the oldest trick in the book
trump hinging everything on crime fearmonger is crazy since crime is nationally at it’s lowest rate in about 100 years, it’s kind of amazing there’s essentially zero political downsides to blatantly lying anymore

It's amazing how much clarity the New York Times has about Viktor Orban and his crackdown on LGBTQ people. If only they had it for Trump and the US. It's the exact same political strategy!

Ok sorry but getting on my soapbox to say that this isn’t a u-turn or a 180 or even a pause on tariffs.
The MASSIVE tariffs are gone but BIG tariffs are still in place. And more so than before last week.
