It just dawned on me that a trade war with Canada benefits Elon. When gas prices rise, more people consider buying hybrid or electric vehicles. Welp, Trump has just guaranteed that gas prices will be soaring.
Guess Elon is just a lucky guy for such a fortuitous turn of events.

The H1B1 “visa issue” would be solved by addressing college cost and student loans so people here could be educated for the jobs high tech wants. The rub? They will want to be paid appropriately and have a good work/life balance. That won’t work for Elon. He wants people who can be abused.
