I’m involved in a project about the music scene in Barrow 1977-95. I’m creating new work about that time.

I’m looking for recordings of music & gigs to create new tracks.

Drop line here/email info@shaunblezard.com - Digital preferred, but can get other stuff sorted.

Poverty is political

Despite economic growth since 2010, 5.2m UK children live in poverty. Govts imposed two-child benefit cap.

Due to lack of good food, housing, healthcare, UK children upto 7cm shorter than comparable Europeans.

Must reset political discourse

Labour hasn’t delivered growth or happiness. It needs an economic reset.
Successive governments have tailored economic and tax policies to impoverish the masses

Starmer tells us he’ll be ruthless - throwing the vulnerable under the bus :-( are these Labour values?
🚨 Cutting social security would be Austerity 2.0. Cruel & unfair.

Social security should be a support system anyone can rely on if life takes an unexpected turn, but it’s already not working as it should. (1/2)

Disability benefits cuts will be 'devastating' and 'increase poverty', Labour told
Labour has pledged to slash to cut the disability benefits bill, even after a High Court ruling found a consultation to be unlawful.

First new music in a bit
The first recording as Aoire and first music around 4 years. Made with Korg Volca Sample 2, Volca FM and Sonicware Liven Texture Lab.

Pleased with the Little Annie feel - was listening to her and Twine a lot around recording. More to come in 2025
