If ever a song was made for Pulp it’s this one, love the Blancmange version but this suits Jarvis so perfectly!

Fab night with Mairi, great laugh and brilliant gig 🙌
Thanks to mighty #MDANT @jaynemoobs.bsky.social and Mr Jayne, I was able to see Friends Again and Lloyd Cole at Glasgow’s Fruitmarket this eve. Cheers, you beautiful people ❤️

A little bit of serendipity, had 10 minutes free before catching my train home from the Friends Again gig. Popped into the record shop and immediately spotted one of my missing Cloth sleeves. Buzzing 🤩 #WeekendSingles

Friends Again were utterly superb last night. An evening full of great music, lovely people and a brilliant atmosphere. Wish we could do it all again tonight ❤️

Loved watching Lloyd Cole on with Friends Again. He played a dream set of songs written in Glasgow, imagine when the night starts with ‘Are you ready to be heartbroken?’ Top that!

Happy Birthday Lloyd, thanks for spending it with us, it was utterly brilliant! ❤️

Such sad news about Solfest folding. There’s much discussion over financial management but from a festival goers point of view it was a great experience.

Heres my Dad, a regular there every year. Im sad for all the Cumbrians who won’t now experience this warm friendly, creative festival.

‘Once a song is released into the world it can be listened to & loved by anyone. However, it appals us to see the lyrics of our song used to bolster a campaign & ideology which is completely at odds with what we as a band believe’

I find it utterly sickening that we are the 5th richest country in the world and yet deep poverty is at the highest level in three decades.

People in ‘very deep’ poverty now make up 6.8 million people, including millions of children. We’re failing to turn the dial.
