I truly hope that one silver lining we take from this coup is that voters begin to understand that when you vote for president, you’re not just selecting one person. You’re selecting all the judges they’ll appoint, and the entire cabinet.

Okay so, is Schumer voting for the CR because shutting down the government is worse? If so, why? And does the DNC support it? If not, why not? The problem with all this is that WE DO NOT KNOW.

What is wrong with giving a new leader a chance? A new approach, a fresh approach. Someone who has integrity, leadership skills, represents a key state, has guts and the confidence of the base. Time to put ego aside and screw seniority. This is my nominee.

I absolutely am embarrassed and ashamed. I'm supposed to travel overseas in a couple of weeks and went from looking forward to it, to dreading it, because all I can say is I don't support this, fought to stop it, and of course voted against it.
