When I resigned as co-chair of the National Association of Black Journalists convention after their decision to platform Trump, I took a lot of heat for it.

I was told “Black journalists are going to expose his racism and save America”

Today, the Trump regime is arresting Black journalists.

The risk to North American auto manufacturing is North America's auto manufacturers not keeping up with what global consumers want.

You've had tens of billions of dollars in subsidies and supports shovelled at you. Compete or die.

Bovino is just the patsy - a noxious and odious fall guy. Stephen Miller is the architect and prime mover of the whole thing. Everything they do is at his direction - often after his threats. As long as he runs policy in the WH, nothing will change no matter how many Bovinos come and go.

If you’re feeling helpless amidst the ongoing horrors being perpetrated by ICE… engage in mutual aid.

Donate to someone in need. Give to a community library or food bank.

You could also help Rodney Taylor, a disabled double amputee who’s been held by ICE for a year.

His story is often forgotten:

Rodney has been in the country more than 40 years. He's in solitary confinement in Georgia, being denied disability accommodations and having his medical needs ignored. He must be released.

We all know that it's really not about defense.
NATO defense officials have confirmed that European allies, led by the UK and Scandinavian countries, carry the primary responsibility for Arctic military operations, as the US lacks sufficient forces and experience for sustained activity in the High North.

Canada, paving the way
For decades, countries like Canada prospered under what we called the ‘rules-based international order.’

That order is not coming back, but from the fracture, we can build something better, stronger, and more just.

Do I agree with everything that PM Carney has done? No, but he's definitely the right PM for current times. With World Bank & Brexit on his resumé, he has the credibility & experience to forge international ties to protect Canada both economically & as a nation.
Canada is forging new partnerships around the world – including an ambitious new strategic partnership with Qatar that will build up our industries, drive investment into our businesses, and create new career opportunities for Canadians.

🇨🇦PM Carney just schooled our cowardly European leaders at #Davos. This speech was clearly aimed at them:

"We must actively take on the world as it is, not wait around for a world we wish to be."

"What does it mean for middle powers to live the truth? First it means naming reality..." (🧵1/6)
