Sitting tight. Waiting for the tyrannicide headlines.
np: 葉麗儀 – 上海灘

The artist formerly known as NINLIA. I like Shanghai (the game) and 90s Marvel trading cards a lot.
Someone remind me to never buy Topps shite again.

I want to hook up Hyper Neo Geo 64 to my cab but I'm currently playing Tetris the Grand Hoarder in my apartment and can't be arsed to pull out the Model 3 mobo that weights a ton.

Since we have Hulk and Red Hulk, how come there's no Red Kermit?

OK I've busted my right deltoid again. So I won't be playing fighting games for a couple of weeks. Yet even in pain, I managed to pull this off at the Fatal Fury Special tournament last night. Highlight of 2025 for me even thought I lost the set and finished 5th. Mashing shoryudan = best. #garospe

Bought my very first Ultimate Guard boulder and how effin annoying is it that one of the sides of the bottom half curves inwards and leaves a gap when I place the top on. VERY.

Having multiple Youtube acccounts is a must in this day and age where some channels hide comments that offer the slightest critique. Just had a channel like my comment yet hide it from their viewers. Just for pointing out the use of unnecessary AI. Core-AI-Gaming.

I feel somewhat guilty about my lack of enthusiasm and interest towards new games. I mean, I know I'm right about 99% of new games being absolute garbage, but it's not fair for the 1% that I will probably never hear about because I can't be arsed to browse through all the announcements. Sorry.

Never played Yu-Gi-Oh! in my life, but a strange urge to get into the console games has popped up. I'm talking about the 90s and early 00s titles. I wonder if that era had similar games... not counting Culdcept. I'm already way too much into that one.

Funny how spending money on video games feels iffy but I have no qualms about throwing cash at trading cards.

Kowloon Generic Romance was the last thing I ever recommended. If folks are too stubborn to even watch that masterpiece, there's no point anymore.

Just saw the new Wolf Hawkfield visual reveal trailer and decided I'll review all the new VF redesigns on a scale of 0 to 5, and give 5 pointers per character.

Wolf Hawkfield
–stupid getup
–stupid hair-beard combo
–stupid tattoos
–stupid new backstory
–face doesn't fit the character
Score: 0.5 / 5

Ooh! This is a good one. Been playing this and VF3tb today. Perfect day.
#Gaurodan is out!

The 2013 game has been completely redone to fit my current vision of traditional arcade game design. It's denser (more levels but less overall length), with better pacing, mechanics and a proper scoring system.

Having the time to play Everspace, Earth Defense Force and Shanghai on my free time. I'm enjoying.

Oxford's word of the year 2024 was 'brait rot' – but I've a feeling we're going to be talking about brains a lot more this year.

I cannot think of anything more profoundly un-American than a president declaring himself a “king”

This weekend I enjoyed some Shanghai videogaming on the PS1.

Now that's my kind of a night club. In the city. I'm clearly not misunderstanding anything.

I'm reading a book by Minoru Ikeda, owner of the legendary MIKADO arcades in Tokyo. Key takeaway here: Sunsoft's SHANGHAI II arcade board has been regularly earning 20,000 yen every week since its release in 1989. (Cont)
