Early joggers stunned this week when the body of a Chuck E. Cheese animatronic washed up on the rocks of Metro Beach.
Robot removed, bt the discovery has inspired a memorial w/visitors leaving Chuck E. Chs plushes, tokens, & a man pouring Pepsi frm a C.E.Chs cup quietly saying “This is for Charles.”

So very sorry to hear that Bud Cort has passed.
Harold And Maude is one of my favorites.
Thanks for the bizarre & loving little experience.

We've homed this cat for 5 years.
She's come for pets, sat next to me, and sat on my lap for extended periods.
She's never fallen asleep on my lap.
Until last night.
5 years

Verklempt when I wasn't aware of how much my heels hurt on the coffee table.
But I was NOT taking my legs down

Indy the Dog just won Best Horror/Thriller Performance at the Astra Film Awards for GOOD BOY, beating out Ethan Hawke and Alison Brie, among others.

I've been telling everyone who will listen that this dang dog is one of the best Actors I've seen perform, this year.

Cases where police moved out of the way of moving vehicle and exercised deadly force, with more in thread.
- Kirby vs. Duva (2008): Officers cannot create or avoid danger and then use deadly force anyway. Shooting after the officer was no longer in danger was unconstitutional.

An excellent breakdown of the currently-available footage.
Please remember that Trump said the man with the gun was "... viciously ran over" and "it is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital."
Video: Videos Contradict Trump Administration Account of ICE Shooting in Minneapolis
An analysis of footage from three camera angles show that the vehicle appears to be turning away from a federal officer as he opened fire.

A really easy New Year's resolution you can make is to try adding better alt text to your images.

Even if you don't do it 100% of the time, wholeassing alt text on some of your works means accounts like mine will share it!

Teared me up.
Trump will spend Christmas Eve with his billionaire friends at Mar-a-Lardo on the taxpayers' dime. Barack Obama spent his Christmas Eve as President surprising kids at a children's hospital. Don't forget what a real man with leadership skills looks like.

Fuck Ai.
If they can't get their heads around the thievery and soullessness and "no creation process" of it, even the clueless people can grasp that Data Centers are the current Big Bad for the environment.
My friends, I say this with all the love in my heart: Right now might not be the moment for “But we should be TOLERANT and NUANCED about the plagiarism machines!”

Your tolerance and “nuance” will be weaponised by the grifters and their apologists. Please respect yourselves more.
