At this point, it's not even a situation where FOX News is state-sponsored media. The US government has become a FOX News-sponsored state.

Republican governors have sent National Guard troops to Democratic-led Washington, D.C., even though cities in their states all have higher rates of violent crime than the nation’s capital. www.nytimes.com/2025/09/01/u...

I've hesitated before to call Republicans straight out Nazis, but this Republican candidate for governor in California is not subtle.

True, he's not exactly a leading candidate. But it's telling that Californian GOPers still prefer him over Kamala.

So honestly, this might be bias in reporting. But it seems like every story about "MAGA person changes their mind about Trump", it's after they themselves were denied entry or detained by ICE.

Every time I see a story about, "MAGA person's family get detained by ICE," they still support Trump.

Republicans think that being strong is the same as hurting people. If innocent people get hurt, that MIGHT be seen as unfortunate, but backing off in order to hurt fewer people is DEFINITELY going to be seen as weak, which to them is a bigger sin than causing harm.
