Football nights like tonight make you appreciate the Champions League Goals Show. One would hope some kind of service like this will remain when Paramount takes over the rights.

The era when every genre of ITV programming had to have its own ident to make the brand look cool.

I’m sure there was an ident in the previous set with Harry Hill and John Suchet. Not sure who signed that one off.

When did Boots stop selling music and videos? This must be near the end of it. I had it in my head it was earlier, but I have memories of larger Boots stores having gaps where music and videos used to be along with domestic appliances.

Just remember the time when it was announced Setanta lost the rights to the PL, it pretty much died instantly. Not saying this will happen to TNT, but you can’t charge a premium amount for 1x PL game a week, some FA Cup, a bit of rugby and MotoGP. At least Setanta was promoted as a cheaper option.
TNT is cooked. BT exited at the right time.
Sky grab the Europa / Conference League rights from TNT (four-year deal starting from 2027)

Somewhere somehow, Ally McCoist’s agent starting to panic.

Always like it when a new to YouTube video (well it’s the first time I’ve seen it) appears about BSB. This time from The Media Show, safe to say they nailed it even before the damned thing even launched…

I genuinely think this will be breaking point for a lot of people who are paying for both Sky and TNT, in addition to Amazon. Unless Skydance actually acquire WBD, it’s going to be a difficult choice.

Wow. Even if it was unintentional, Andy Burnham saying to Naga and Charlie in response to ruling out a leadership challenge, who knows whether you’ll be here this time next year. #BBCBreakfast

Two things here. Asa’s appearance on Liquid News I think was the first time TVForum went into meltdown.

LN was such a great programme back then. Christopher Price was taken far too young. I forgot the total randomness of the guests though.
