On January 24th, my parents home burned down. They and my disabled brother escaped with only minor burns but they lost everything they've ever had.

I'm running a GoFundMe to help them recover and rebuild. I would be deeply grateful for any donations but also for any shares!

Truth bomb.
Poetry doesn’t always have to be deep, or angry, or thought provoking, or sad

Sometimes it needs to be fun, to make you smile

This poem by Meg Cox from her collection ‘A Square of Sunlight’ does just that. And perhaps behind that smile a little recognition…

I have a very special essay up in Beautiful Things. For me, it's a shift in energy from all the despair. Also, a precious moment of my chicken years captured.

Fun little anecdote: When I fed them this morning (chilly!) i gave them warm scrambled egg to celebrate, and I told them they’re famous now.

I don’t want to hear anything from an elected official unless it’s a plan to defund the DHS and impeach Noem, Bovino, etc. No texts. No emails. No talk about the economy. Step up or step off.

This is clearly an execution.
ANOTHER ANGLE. This man was NOT brandishing a firearm. He was holding his phone. He then put his body between ICE thugs and woman. He was then sprayed with a chemical agent, tackled, disarmed, and executed. Plain as day. DO NOT let them tell you otherwise.

The newest video shows very clearly that they attacked him for coming to an aid of a woman that the agents pushed, and then executed him while he was immobilized. Everything the government has said, like with Good, has been a complete lie.
