Wick is an interesting pickup...this clearly is basically just calling "Dibs" on a comeback in 2027. He's got some big time stuff and has been kind of a backup closer for the Cubs and had a monster year in Japan. But...ask me again in a year and a half.
The #SFGiants have announced that they have signed veteran reliever Rowan Wick to a one-year deal with a club option for 2027. Wick will miss the entire 2026 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery.
In a corresponding move, Jason Foley was moved to the 60-day injured list.

The #SFGiants signing Harrison Bader is a good move. It's not great, it won't change this team's fortune's singlehandedly, but it fills a hole in the outfield and certainly fits the team's supposed pitching-and-defense profile. About $10.25M a year for him is good value.

The #SFGiants traded minor league catcher Carlos Ramirez to the Marlins for an undisclosed amount of Bonus Pool money.
Not a surprise. I hear the Giants have three more prospects waiting to sign but ran out of pool space. I expect we’ll get one more deal like this. Maybe two. 🤷♂️

Mike Marjama was the Triple-A hitting coach for the National Championship Jacksonville team last year.
The #SFGiants have decided to place him at Low-A San Jose, where he is going to work with a very exciting group of young prospects.

The #SFGiants have signed pitcher Caleb Kilian and infielder Buddy Kennedy to minor league deals, per the team’s transaction log. Kilian was an 8th-round pick by the Giants in 2019 and shipped to the Cubs in the Kris Bryant trade. Kennedy has an .816 OPS across 8 MiLB seasons
