the new scopedog is a lot less of a redesign than the gqx zaku, so i shouldn't be scrutinizing it so much over small details. i think i'm just projecting my misgivings towards oshii onto it

just a small sorta-wip tonight
wanted to draw a bunch of real motorcycles on the same sheet but i keep getting stuck on details..... there's so much wrong with this one that i'm afraid to admit which model it is.
i'll probably finish inking on a second real bike before adding some fictional ones

it just occurred to me now, but i don't actually know what to do if i have to make a fake license plate for a drawing.

it's done...! sorry about the rough linework, my hands were pretty shaky during most of the inking process...
what's shown here is actually 4/5 of the full sheet. it's a lot more than i usually use so i might scan this later

might finally have a decent idea for how the missile interception effects should look.
not entirely sure if i'll be able to replicate this in the actual drawing, but hopefully something close will be enough

...how is the actual gyroplane drawing going?

been staring really hard at this simulator video to see how the flaps move on a compound gyroplane.
if i understand correctly... for ascending none of the flaps actually move, and for rolling to the right the left flap goes down and the right flap goes up...

only now realized hecate's gun has shell casings coming out of it in that clip. this is why people should pay off their sleep debt fully
