Pat Spencer still sticks out on the basketball court.

That was true six years ago when he put on a Northwestern jersey for the first time as a graduate transfer. And it was true again Sunday night.
How a season at Northwestern propelled Pat Spencer from NCAA lacrosse star to an NBA starter
Pat Spencer is making a name for himself in the NBA — and accomplishing the impossible — a little more than six years after converting from lacrosse to basketball at Northwestern.

On the Blackhawks’ long-awaited flight home tonight, Connor Bedard will look down not only at the Michigan countryside but also at the entire NHL.

He added three points to his league-leading total of 25 as the Hawks beat the Red Wings 5-1.

Oh, and memes.

It went off the rails a few times. Read our conversation here:

Horton is adamant he can pitch, Counsell said, but Cubs want to make sure they have all info before that happens

It’s still unclear if this is a rib cage area issue and/or his back. Cubs will have another physician look at Horton’s MRI

Counsell said Horton scheduled to throw tomorrow is good sign
Regarding Cade Horton’s MRI, there is an area of concern in his ribs that Counseel said Cubs are “going to continue to get more information on it & see where that leads us.”

Counsell added that right now Horton is a go for the playoffs as they gather info in coming days. Horton will throw tomorrow.
