JoJoLands prediction: Acca Howler's stand will be called Tears for Fears, with the song reference being Everybody Wants to Rule the World. The song fits because of the multiple groups after his fortune and Howler's fear of losing his fortune, as well as the lyrics describing both Jodio and Howler.

Thinking about the Hazmat enemies from the subway and Old New York levels of the Futurama game. What the hell was up with these guys? What were they doing underground? They don't seem to be mutants, otherwise they probably would have been in the sewer level. Are they a cult, terrorists, aliens?

If contemporary American politics has any lesson to teach, it's that humans will go to ridiculous lengths to harm those they perceive themselves as unjustly having to compete for survival with, even to their own obvious detriment when it would have been far easier to just be more open and accepting.

Looking at this Online Safety Act controversy has me thinking back on all the teachers from grade school onwards who said that Wikipedia was an invalid source because it is open to the public, and I can't help but think that attitude is partially to blame for this debacle.

Having recently finished Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, I have to say that Ichiban Kasuga might just be the best Jesus allegory I have ever seen, and it is precisely because he is just an ordinary human with a heart of gold.

The new Fantastic Four film juxtaposing the vitriol of the American public against the existential threat of the world devouring Galactus and Sue Storm standing up to them and getting them to empathize with her family's plight was such a good scene.

Late to the party, but finally playing through Like a Dragon: Infinite wealth and it is impossible not to compare the dynamic between Ichiban and Kiryu to Josuke and Jotaro.

Finally got around to watching the original Mobile Suit Gundam and the second episode begins with the evacuating citizens getting attacked by Zeon, and we see this lady who has her priorities straight during a militant invasion.

Finished Revolutionary Girl Utena (the anime series at least) and surprisingly I find that I maintain my earlier sentiment that it reminds me of No More Heroes but in a high school yuri(ish) setting.

On episode 28 of Revolutionary Girl Utena and Juri and Shiori feel like a toxic yuri version of Oersted and Streibough from Live A Live. Watching this show after midnight is doing things to my brain.
