This movie is fantastic. Familiar and fresh at the same time.

And it has two of my favorite things: Jack Quaid and Sophie Thatcher

Thinking about the days when you would turn on the news early before school to see if your district was listed as closed at the bottom of the screen.
Or better yet, when the school called the next day off the night before and you go to your friend’s house to get snowed in.

I saw the #IMAX re-release of Se7en (1995) tonight.
Absolutely remarkable; cannot wait to get my copy of that 4K remaster next week.

Happy New Year #FilmSky!

I went to see A Complete Unknown this morning. I found it to be a fantastic example of a biopic well-done; centering on personal relationships, and not shying away from the protagonist’s unfavorable qualities.

Ya boy has been WORKING.

Denis becoming a contender for the director with the most representation amongst my collection. Second only to Marty.

Did you know that Black Christmas was one of the first films to feature a killer who targets victims through the phone? It pioneered the 'phone caller' trope in horror, making every ring chilling. #HorrorFacts #BlackChristmas #HorrorFamily #HorrorMovies #Christmas2024

A lot of people (?) have been asking if I will be attending the Se7en IMAX screening in January, as if they need to ask.

We are one quarter of the way through the 21st century.

How are there STILL "alphabetized" databases where movies that begin with "The" are all dumped into the section for words that begin with the letter "T?"

What’s a movie you were so, so wrong about and fully admit it now with your whole chest? I thought It’s a Wonderful Life was so cornball for years, before I saw it again a few years ago and suddenly I was the right age and now it’s one of my favorite movies and it’s so beautiful and wise and good

Seconds (1966) was tonight's feature presentation.
Oh how us men are so resourceful when it comes to making our lives worse.
I am wondering: did Charlie meet the same fate as Art at the end? Or was he permitted to another chance after having referred Art to the program?

A lot of folks are giving up in advance. Capitulating before a single skirmish.

Well, not this old warrior. I’ve seen much worse from the U.S. government in my day. I’m concerned for our country, but not a bit scared of these miscreants. I’m ready to do my part.

Who’s with me?

After hearing Sebastian Stan could not get another actor to speak with him about The Apprentice for fear of retribution, I felt it was a good time to tell you to watch this film. It paints a horrific picture; quite informative.

Yes, libraries are invaluable for their collections and public services they offer, but also social contact without the expectation to interact with anyone or spend any money is so important to so many people
