No Kinktober for me this year. New job schedule leaves no time for art and I've stepped back from the fandom aside from commissions.

I have actually been considering turning off my phone while at home and logging out of all my social media so I can focus on other things...haven't really worked up the courage yet but I'm almost fully withdrawn from the fandom so that's progress at least...

ah i did see most of those, most of those artists in my mind enjoy certain things more than others and at least one of them is already working on something for me.

Where are you seeing comm openings??? I haven't been able to find people available for my projects (but also if you look at the subject matter, female forced orgasms, there's like barely 4 pages on e6 and a big chunk of it is me and artists who are unavailable--sadly a niche in the fandom)

I think that's just how it goes with how fragmented various artists discords are. I basically only use discord for DMs these days. I don't want to leave some servers because they don't have public invites tho :(

It's really fun attire! And it seems to be hard to find the sweet spot where the tail looks like a plausible legbinder. Usually it looks more like a TF scene where the feet and legs disappear into a point and that bugs me.

It's still a struggle. I'm sorry you're going through it too. It's very hard to live a just and empathetic life in these times and that's definitely no small part of it.

It's all of the above for me, plus getting older and no longer having time to do furry art. I've withdrawn from the community to focus on irl friends and communities. Hard to do where I live but the alternative was standing still and I can't do that anymore. there's no future for me in the fandom.

Any chance you can get one of those freestanding ACs? They suck and need a window and they're loud and more expensive than a window AC but it's still better than nothing if you can find one (especially the two hose type, so you're not just drawing hot air back into the building)
