The people of Michigan deserve leaders who have their best interests at heart and stay true to their word.

GOP House Speaker Matt Hall has proven to do just the opposite, attempting to rob my constituents of the resources they were promised from the state with bicameral, bipartisan agreement.

Today we honor the American heroes in the U.S. Capitol Police department and other law enforcement officers who were beaten and crushed while defending the United States Capitol against a domestic attack on the day Congress was certifying the Presidential election.

For POTUS to vow to make Venezuelans rich while Americans can’t afford groceries, health insurance, or homes is an outrage.

How does perp walking a foreign leader make Americans rich?

Does any American really believe this gold mine for his friends in oil will somehow “trickle down” to them?

Michigan House Republicans consider fixing Inkster’s Community Center roof to be “waste,” “fraud,” and “abuse,” so they clawed back the funding Inkster was set to receive to fix the roof. This is what happened last night at the Dozier community center. Inkster’s mayor and residents are devastated.

On @repmatthall’s chopping block for my community are building renovations to open a new branch of the Kids-TALK Children’s Advocacy Center.
Just finished telling some of the mayors in Senate District 5 that unspent dollars for long-term work projects that were awarded to them in fiscal year 2025 will be clawed back by @RepMattHall. These projects will go unfinished. 💔ing day.
Yesterday, House Republicans abruptly canceled nearly $645 million in funding for critical state projects in a backroom deal. Matt Hall and his caucus are slashing funding for new moms, kids with cancer, fighting the opioid crisis, and crucial projects in every corner of the state.

Are we supposed to view “saving” food programs that already exist for low-income Americans as a big win?

Nothing on preserving affordable ACA plans?

This misses the mark.

Republican House Speaker Matt Hall MUST release to Governor Whitmer the 9 PASSED bills he has been holding hostage for the past 10 months.

“Trump has never said such things publicly, although he has broken the rules of civility, which emboldens further degeneracy.

The party of Lincoln should be asking why the party of Trump has attracted this faction of individuals, and doing what it must to shed them.”
