Starting Nov. 8, Michigan families will receive partial SNAP benefits—about half the usual amount—due to limited federal contingency funding. While this will help Michigan families, Trump and DC Republicans have still fallen short. The federal government must act NOW to secure full SNAP benefits.

We voted yesterday to help provide emergency funding for SNAP benefits, which the Trump Administration will cut off for millions of Michiganders starting Nov. 1st. Congress and the White House must act but we refused to just sit by and wait for them to step up.
