a few days busy with travel, but finally getting to posting my 2026 goals. this year, i've got 35 goals that span six categories:

one of my favorite activities at the end of each year is doing a full recap and introspection of my goals. this year, i set 17 goals. some were ambitious, some were silly, they were all meaningful. i achieved 7 of the 17, and i came close on three others.
one of my favorite things i had on twitter that i want to keep going on this site is keeping track of my wins - the difficult things i accomplish and goals i reach. i won’t rehash all the things in my twitter thread, but i will start with my goals for 2025.

over the past two postseasons, i've outscored every team in my league by at least 10 ppg (25 ppg more than the 3rd).

when i started my home fantasy football league, i started collecting some very basic schedule info like team, points, opponent, points against, etc. i didn't know how to code or anything about modeling, so when i was playing with the data, i made the simplest expected win models imaginable.
