i know we talk about genuinely engaging with the art community a lot, but something that I don't see brought up often is how "generations" of artists develop
especially when you're starting out, i think it's easy to focus on more established artists as a point of interest

![Hi there, My name is (your name) and I am calling to oppose multiple harmful internet bills that are moving through Congress right now. I oppose all bills that mandate online ID checks, infringe upon our constitutional right to free speech on the internet, enable government policing of online resources, and threaten end-to-end encryption. If you truly care about young people’s experience on the internet, you should pass comprehensive data privacy legislation and oppose any bill that forces Internet users to submit to ID checks or would censor the internet, like the SCREEN Act, App Store Accountability Act, and KOSA
additionally, I want to advocate for section 230, which I have seen multiple legislators call for repealing. Section 230 is integral to a free and open internet, and repealing it would destroy the internet as we know it and countless livelihoods. I do not want to see section 230 repealed, I want to see it protected.

Update on this: I am remembering my dreams more, starting the day with more clarity, and in general am feeling more Human. I am still finding myself subconsciously craving my old phone whenever I am under-stimulated or alone with my thoughts. That's going to take more time to unlearn 😅
I got rid of my smartphone—kind of. At the beginning of this year, I pre-ordered a ’dumb‘ phone with enough features that I could put my iPhone aside for special cases. I got it last week and I haven’t been scrolling on my phone to wake up—that’s big. Will talk about this more eventually!! (2/?)

i really encourage people not to use these for this reason! i think it'd be cool if bsky included fonts down the line, but anything you have to copypaste—

I've downloaded & re-uploaded (in a trimmed fashion to fit in the 1 minute limit) the video from X to ensure that it will continue to be available (& ensure that people have an easier time experiencing how awful this truly is).
