they absolutely will make sure CSAM-capable product features are more substantially paywalled but they won't be foolish enough to be explicit enough in advertising materials as to indicate intent to abet criminal uses of their platform. same intent problems as the ISPs case recently argued at scotus
You are kidding yourself if you think OpenAI won't be charging for ChatGPT to generate CSAM for pay in a few months. They already charge money for a product that tells kids to self harm, they already have a product that generates "adult content", they already lobby against any AI regulation.

One bad post-Trump future is that there are no longer free elections. Another, and much more likely, bad future is that elections continue to be held under more or less the same rules as before and Dems win about half of them, but the essential elements of Trumpism become bipartisan consensus.
