🧵 Putting together a thread of resources (ideally courses) for learning various languages. It's going to be Eurocentric at first, as I have more of those and also those tend to be free - outside Europe, and the resources tend not to exist (a least not for Anglophones):

Love to see a "here's a list of all the mistranslations in X anime/manga" and then it's stuff like:

Dub: Just you wait! I will end you!

Sub: Have patience...I will kill you

Like babes. No. That's not a mistranslation.

And then in the replies you find out the person doesn't even speak Japanese.
