Our exhibition ‘Whittington: The Man, The Myth and The Cat’ tells the story of medieval merchant & Lord Mayor Richard Whittington & how this became the famous tale & pantomime through materials in our Whittington collections. His bequest founded Guildhall Library in 1425. Many cat pictures as well 😺
