Nestful is now exclusively powered by Gleam and Lustre. Vue was completely removed and TypeScript is only used for glue code and FFI.

Having fun using some of my recent compiler and BEAM bytecode tooling to write a nanopass mix compiler for brainfuck that directly compiles to BEAM bytecode.

There's probably some useful little utilities that can be extracted from this to help with building languages on top of the BEAM

And yet, about 16 months ago they could have acquired for cheap a great web-based animation product that incorporated image generation models. 🤨
Maybe it was a bad idea for Adobe to abandon creative professionals in favour of chasing YouTubers and influencers who would drop their product the second something easier came along.

The Gleam game engine just got a new major release with a better typesafe api, extraction of modules (quaterni, statemachine, savoiardi) and a change in direction with durations now typed as gleam/time/duration.Duration

One of my top show recommendations from 2025. Plenty of fantastic anime action, the usual dose of awkward humor, and a lot of unexpected poignancy.

You should watch it.
Oh yeah, I finished Season 1 of Frieren. It's not a show that I thought I'd be that interested in watching, but holy shit I'm so glad that I was convinced to.

10/10 honestly. I read that some thought it was slow, but I didn't get that impression at all. Had me crying many times
