My multidisciplinary art studio workshop is always evolving. Today I’m making 4 curtains panels from a secondhand curtain panel. Then I’ll get back to the project I’m procrastinating on. Here’s Rauschenberg making sewing super safe and ergonomic. Bonus: Is this pet giving OMEN?

Learned to make the @corefabrics belt bag at @craftemporiumpdx . These were gifts which incorporated found/secondhand materials or new from small local businesses. It may not look like art as resistance but it sure feels like it to me. Yes I’m holding my first bag like a trophy fish.

And here’s the finished vase! I underglazed the design and then painted wax on before glazing to achieve a fun contrast in texture.

Fun fact: You can usually find these little guys (the real crabs) on the lava rocks near shore in Hawaii hopping from rock to rock.

Here’s a set of cups we collaborated on. Lance threw each piece and Melissa designed the patterns. Vinyl stencils of the pattern were used to resist the glaze.
