It's so disheartening that in 4 months, I went from celebrating cracking the top 50 in open competitive pinball to having the members of that organization assume I'm a bad faith actor.
It's really sad that I have to walk away from something I love because the people in charge are awful.

Effective immediately, I'm taking an indefinite break from competitive pinball.
Competitive pinball is a great community marred by an organization that has perfected the science of stepping on rakes.
It's clear at this point that the hobby's inclusivity is a self solving problem.

All in all, it's a good year to focus on other hobbies. There's always video games. There's always community inside pinball. The happiness is where you make it.
But I lament for those who tried their best competitively and then have their experiences invalidated by an organization who does this.

I picked up Space Warlord Baby Trading Simulator today, and it is a brutal satire of capitalism via /r/WSB.
I want to really compliment this game for putting it's content disclaimers up as the first thing you see. *Every time you boot.* It's heavy content and the developers 100% understand that.
